The only thing questionable is the blue legs. This photo is neither overly titillating (ha) nor offensive. Just body paint which is becoming more and more popular.
What makes this inappropriate and disappointing? Cause she is essentially naked? Her genitals are covered. Men walk around without shirts on all the time. Why the double standard for women? Or is it the dude's butt in the background? The picture isn't graphic or sexualized.
I also have little patience for people who hide behind anonymity. If you believe in what you're saying, why hide?
I really didn't perceive this photo as anything other than a (slightly) ribald joke. As stated above, the photo is not sexual at all, and is really more just silly.
I think the Shrine, in six and a half years of daily content, has posted something like three NSFW items in all that time, so it's not like I'm constantly shoving R-rated material in anyone's faces.
But since this post was one of Shrine's higest-viewed in weeks, expect much more hard core nudity and sex in the future!
I just want to be clear, my initial request for NSFW was a joke. I think it's actually a neat post. And I'm a red-blooded straight male, so I'm not complaining. There's been plenty of male cosplayers with well-defined junk for those who are into that.
I once sandblasted the pokies off a piece of Miss Martian fan art before posting it to my blog. I'm just way sophisticated like that. I blame your time with Shag for this perverse display of homo sapien udder-- this sucklage of the sea-- this trollop of the tide!

Hope the paint is water-proof!
^...or not.
Where was the NSFW tag on this? The guy BEHIND her is disturbing.

Sorry Chris; the Shrine so rarely ventures into this territory I didn't feel like I needed to add the NSFW tag, but I thought better of it.
I was just bustin' your chops Rob, but it may help if someone gets a visitor over their shoulder suddenly!
Chris
Hey, is that Moon Knight behind Aquawoman?
Inappropriate and disappointing that this would be posted on this site.
sad thing is it's not very good... oh well
Well...that put a grin on my face! lol
I actually agree with anonymous, butt it's your site Rob. However, unknown's comment cracked me up.
Happy Birthday to me! She's adorable.
