Aquaman Art Gallery: John Trumbull

sg
We've posted some of my pal John Trumbull's work before, but who cares when the stuff is this good? This piece is from last week's The Line It Is Drawn column, where theme was "Superheroes Go Bad." John cheekily repurposed the classic 60s Titans line-up as troubled youth from films of the time, done up as lobby card for a Teen Titans exploitation film. I love how tough Garth is trying to look in his leather jacket...and short shorts.

Check out more of John's work at his Deviant Art page!

That made my day. Brilliant!

Is it wrong that I really like Wonder Girl like this? I blame Nick Cardy.

nice! i'd rather watch an animated series like this compared to the terrible "teen titans go" that's headed to television.

They're gonna dance in the street and they don't care what anyone thinks.
