This very unusual splash page from Aquaman #29 is a great example of how Cardy's sense of design could really take the reader by er, storm: I love the story's title set at a 90 degree angle, and how all the color stops with the curve of the whale's tale. It was really innovative stuff like that helped make Cardy's run on Aquaman so memorable!

I've watched this scene in the TV a few years back. I still remember this scene a lot. One of my favorites actually.
