No matter what young hustler comes down the pike to play live-action Aquaman next (I'm talkin to you Colton Haynes)I think that the ground that Ritchson broke in Smallville will forever tie him to the character.
Plus the 70th birthday party thing!
He is a great live-action representation of Aquaman to have, isn't he? Cool dude!

Hmm, Colton Haynes, huh? A little too young and pouty for me.
It's too bad Chris Hemsworth is all tied up with Thor... although Marvel/DC double-duty isn't unheard of.
And yes Alan, do take off the shirt. It's unbecoming of an underwater studmuffin, I mean king.
They're real and they're spectacular!
I agree with all the comments above, although I also think Paul Walker, Gregory Michael, or Stephen Amell would be ideal for a live-action Aquaman.
However, Stephen Amell is already currently playing Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in "Arrow".
I would LOVE a live action Aquaman, although some more animated Aquaman projects would be cool too.
