Splash Page Saturday: Adventure Comics #449

This installment of Splash Page Saturday comes from Adventure Comics #449, drawn by the incomparable Jim Aparo (who tends to dominate this column, but what can I say? The guy was great!).

I love all the action going on here--you've got Aquaman (bifurcated by the ocean's surface), the Marine Marauder, the cargo ships in the background, and the dolphins heading in the other direction. Not to mention the story title and accompanying text, nicely laid in (I assume by Aparo himself).

"There's more to this game than fighting with fish!" You tell 'em, Aquaman!
