This nifty opening shot is from Adventure Comics #461, drawn and conceived by the late, great Don Newton and inked by Frank Chiaramonte. I love how Netwon had Aquaman and Mera entering the frame, crisscrossing each other but both headed towards the same spot on the page--it leads the eye to the center bottom, where we pick up the captions and then the title of the story and credits. A really wonderfully composed image!
