The myth is that if you put the hand of someone sleeping into a bucket of water they'll pee their pants.
I thought it was that Aquaman can breathe through his gloved fingers. I hope he's just sleeping.
Logically this wouldn't prove anything as (a) he's wearing a glove and (b) he's Aquaman, so he's used to being in water already.
However it does raise the interesting question of just how he goes about relieving himself while underwater. Multiply by a few thousand people and I'm guessing Atlantis has some serious sanitation issues.
I just figured Atlantis had a stream of water everyone swam to to do their business each morning. A jet stream which pushed all the muck elsewhere....
