I may love what Johns is doing now, but this series was my introuction to the King of Seas, And it couldn't have been a better one!!!
Sheesh---when in that series did Mera break her back? Did she run afoul of Bane? I never could stand artists who draw women that way.
Well....it seems to me that this panel sums up everything that's wrong with comics in the 90's and PAD's run on Aquaman. Ouch...that dialog hurts almost as much as the contortions the characters are doing.
