Aquaman Art Gallery: Shag

sg
I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this piece (click to embiggen)--you've got Aquaman and Aqualad on their trust seahorses, alligator pool boys, naked chicks, a ghost car, some sort of deep-sea diver, and some sort of u-party boat!

That said, I love it--its a beautiful piece, and its sheer weirdness appeals to me, so I'm happy to post it on the Shrine.

Another thing about this piece that is a mystery is who did it and who sent it to me--I remember someone emailing to me for the Shrine, but now I can't find the email so I don't know who to credit this piece to! So, if you're the one who sent it to me, or you know who did this piece, please leave a comment so the Shrine can provide proper credit!

Update: As per the comments, the artist of this piece is Shag, which I should have guessed, since I am familiar with his work! Retroactively, the piece makes more sense now.

Update 2: The Shrine got an email from the kind gent who sent in this piece, newest F.O.A.M. member Gon Fernandez, claiming proper credit. Thanks Gon, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

Super neat! So much to look at and ponder; and I notice the Aqua-duo are the Filmation versions.

I love the fish (?) hanging from the tree and the sinister figure on the far right of the submarine. Retro-steampunk Manta, perhaps?
