Another nifty, imaginatively-designed splash page, this time from Justice League of America #94, which featured Aquaman prominently (a rarity during the late 60s/early 70s era of the JLA).
SPOILER ALERT, Aquaman, Batman, and Green Arrow do not get assassinated in this issue!

I don't think the Justice League ever "shrieked" anything. Too much, Friedrich...too much.

Friedrich was a tad verbose, for sure. But then most of his peers were too. It was a combination of the Gardner Fox over-explanation and the Stan Lee over-hyperbole syndrome.
