I used to love the old Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew series when I was a kid. Thanks for bringing back some good memories with this RPOTD, rob!.
Ah, I loved the Zoo Crew too... and the Just'a Lotta Animals!
I wonder what an Aquaduck story would be like (he saw some action in both segments of this Zoo Crew storyline, but...). Presumably, Black Manta is an actual manta... would his half-brother be the villain "Ocean Mallard"? :-)
Re: Hawkwoman: since Earth-C-Minus was supposed to reflect whatever the current state of Earth-1/the DCU was, I'd assume there is a Hawkwoman analog ("Hawkwombat"?) somewhere. Though can only imagine what Earth-C-Minus must be like these days (reboot-central too?).

Haha 'Stacked Canary'
I love this book! I even used to draw the Just A Lotta Animals in my own comics, crossed over with Spider-Ham and those characters from Marvel!
....but NO Hawkwoman character!!!! Sheesh, even here Shayera doesn't get any respect. :-(

Zoo Crew was among the greatest comics DC has ever published. EVER.
