Once again, It's Adventure Sunday!
The Sea Sleuth is back, and so is (don't laugh) Black Jack!
As a special guest of the Water Carnival, "Aquaman" is given a set of rare pearls, which he claims he will donate to charity. As if!

Once again, Black Jack reveals he has no working memory: he dumps Aquaman into the water, thinking that will--this time--most assuredly kill him. Good Lord Black Jack, it's like you want to fail!

Ah, Black Jack... wonder what the Injustice Society (some of the JSA's foes) thought about this guy!
Re: Superboy: The plot this issue: Superboy pretends to lose his powers to discover the hideout of, and trap, a gangster and his mob. Geez, Smallville sure had a lot of gangsters...
Viva Adventure Sunday!
Ye gods, if this isn't Black Jack's sorriest moment... Is he the same guy that tried to drown Popeye in spinach?
I was impressed by the Sea Sleuth's ability to command sea turtles. He needs to work a little on his follow-through, though. I'm developing a soft spot for this character.
