Earth-2 Aquaman, right?

Yep, the Earth-2 Aquaman, appearing in "All Star Squadron," just before being retconned out of existence per "Crisis"... so guessing this is probably his final appearance ever in a DC comic.

(EARTH-2 ARTHUR: Yep, I'm still mad about that! You'd think I'd get a cameo in that "Infinite Crisis" garbage...then again, given how Kal-L and Lois got treated *there*, perhaps I'm better off at the old characters' retirement home...

(Goes back to playing cards with Captain Carrot and the Giant Galapagos Island Rabbit))

Hmm... Makes me wonder. DC has said (somewhere) that the multiverse will still exist in the new universe. Will Earth-2 still be one of those worlds? Will the current, ending at the end of August DCU be another world?

I've been thinking that since the announcement, Joe.
I love that Batman design. Ears are a tad but different. Also, always loved the fact that the Earth-2/Golden Age Aquaman was seen as a myth and/or legend. Added more to em.

"Yes, Starman — there really IS an Aquaman!"

That's going on my Christmas card this year! :)

Since realizing a few years ago in retrospect that All-Star Squadron was one of the best team comics ever, I still haven't gotten to this in my back issue collecting; though I read about the appearance. I also like that look for Batman, a bit like the late sixties World's Finest look.

Starman looks like he should be asking Batman to cough...

Aquaman showed up for a group photo, which included nearly every A-SS member, with him standing with his Earth 2 Super Friends (Supes, Bats, Robin and WW) and then the Crisis took hold. The photo was shown again and the Freedom Fighters had replaced them!

And now we dance that dance ALL OVER AGAIN.
