@ r duncan, I concur. Wonder Woman is really just a female counterpart to Superman. Aquaman represents the final third of a deistic triumvirate similar to the relationship between Zeus (Sky-Superman), Hades (Underword-Batman) and Poseidon (Sea-Aquaman). He SHOULD be the third member of the "big Three"...classically speaking.
Love this panel. The new "classic" JLA back together, showing up in other books, talking to one another and -- dare I say -- getting along? Fantastic; a sign of good things to come.

Guess they're communicating with each other through JLA-earpieces?
Haha--Paquette drawing Aquaman, however briefly. So awesome. And this spread so beautifully captures each characters world. I can't not buy this now.
You know, with animal death thrown in for good swamp thing measure.
Clark: WAZZZZUUPP??
Bruce: WazzzUUUUPP??
Art: WAAAAAAAAAAzzzzzUUUUUppp??
Haha, GA.
That's the real "Big 3" in my book.
