Superhero Horse Sculpture

sg
sg
This unusual sculpture was sent in by new F.O.A.M. member Diego Pimont, who hails from Mexico.

This horse was part of a larger exhibition on horses held in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Apparently one of the artists is a big comic book fan--we only have a pic from the one side, but we can see Aquaman, Green Lantern, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and IronMan!

Can anyone translate what the Sea King is saying? "Pilas...ese trip a montaƱa!"

I love seeing weird, out-of-left-field pieces like this! Thanks Diego, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

That just rocks! I have no clue what it says really, but Google Translates it as: "Batteries ... that trip to mountain!"

I don't know Spanish, but I ran the phrase through FreeTranslation.com and got "Batteries... that trip to mountain!"

Reminds me of that episode of "News Radio" where the boss had his autobiography translated to Japanese and then back again to English. The title ended up retranslated as: "Jimmy James, Macho Business Donkey Wrestler".

Ah, Joe! You beat me to the translation! You win this one. But the next Mexican super hero horse sculpture is mine! ;)

Love this! It's cooler because it's in Spanish!
