Quite nice, but man oh man, I am not digging those wolverine mutton chops at all.

"I'm the best at what I do..." EXCEPT SHAVING!

ON a separate note, I think years in the future all this promo material with GL front and center--ahead of even Superman and Batman--will look painfully ironic, considering the GL movie isn't exactly Avatar, box office-wise.

Though I'm happy to see the character being a part of the Justice League again, I hate that he's always used in these group shots as a background figure or there just to complete the composition. This image, and many like it, almost read as "in order of importance". Aquaman could just as easily be in the spot that Batman, Superman, Flash or even Green Lantern occupy. *rant over*

Brian-

I thought about that, but I think part of it has to be that since Aquaman can't fly, it would look weird to have him hovering over the others.

But yeah, he's always in the background...

I am on the other side about Jim Lee's shaggy look for Arthur: I LIKE IT!

Gives him a look that is both royal, hip, and youthful IMHO.

Haha most of my friends are in their 20s, Joe--I don't know anyone with mutton chops who isn't way too into professional wrestling or monster trucks.

I LOVE THE CHOPS! So stoked for AM to be back in heavy rotation! Been a huge fan of AM since I got his glass at (I think) McDonalds in the late seventies/early eighties as a kid...

And it was barely Catwoman, entertainment-wise.

Brent--While I agree with your assessment, in the end it wouldn't really matter if the GL movie had made a ton of dough. DC was clearly hoping for a GL franchise ala Ironman, but that ain't gonna happen.
