The Daily Planet - 6/6/77

sg
One of the duller Daily Planet headlines, it pretty much takes a really cool book and makes it sound...pretty boring, actually.

Love the Neal Adams headshots, though--I've always enjoyed the fact that Green Lantern looks even grimmer than Batman! Aquaman, meanwhile, just looks passive.

Batman's got a secret! Yes he does! A naughty little secret!

"The Fantastic Fists and Fury Feet of Jimmy Olsen" is what they should have led with here, obvs.

One of the reasons most newspapers have died, they just don't know how to appeal to younger readers!

Would love a modern take on Direct Currents in the reboot or whatever it is.

Yeah, that headshot makes it look like poor Arthur is trying to remember whatever it is that he's supposed to remember.

IMO, the Aquaman story "A King out of Water" may be the worst Aquaman story ever.

I have always loved those Neal Adams heads. That's a design I would find extremely cool on a t-shirt-- a JLA t-shirt with just the NA heads. I'd buy 10!

I'd agree with you, John, but Aquaman kinda just looks like a regular guy haha.
