So, Wonder Woman is fire-retardant and immune to heat? Huh...

WW's bracelets are immune to pretty much everything. And it's great that she freed herself without anyone's help, and I'm liking that the Invisible Plane actually looks transparent this time. Finally an installment I can't complain about (besides the lack of Aquaman)! ;)

I don't know. If she is able to free herself with the use of her invisible jet and magic bracelets why has she even been up there five minutes much less all this time?

@Wings - Poor writing and no appreciation for characters other than Supes on the writer's part.

What @JD said; pre-Crisis, her bracelets were made of "amazonium," which in some stories was supposed to be the hardest metal known, though other stories claimed it was either "supermanium," a metal Supes created for the door to his Fortress, or "inertron" from the Legion's era.

Either way, I've seen her bracelets take a direct energy-blast from Starro in the first JLA story, so imagine jet-exhaust is no problem!

Her bracelets sure, but what about her hands and arms? Are they also impervious to fire/heat?

I dunno; I'm betting jet exhaust isn't usually concentrated in a narrow cone like that; by all rights she should be clacking together charred stumps in a dubious victory dance. But maybe she can mentally control the aperture size of her invisible jet's engine nozzle?! Yay Diana!

I don't know much about pre-crisis WW, but wasn't she pretty tough? Maybe she has super thick skin or something.
