What?!? Aquaman and Bob Hope? When and where did this happen? The King of the Seven Seas and ol' Flute Snoot has got to be the strangest team-up ever. And does Phyllis Diller show up?
I assume it's from the long-running "Bob Hope" comic DC put out through the 50s and 60s...back when DC (and Marvel) had genres besides "superheroes" and "Vertigo/mature readers only"... ;-)
It's from The Adventures of Bob Hope #94. Generally only DC's Big 3 mixed it up with DC's "reality" books (Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis, etc.) but at least Aquaman got to join in a little of the fun...
Matthew--Thanks, I like them too. Sometimes I just forget to do them which is why they appear so inconsistently. (You can submit your own, if you want, just email me a panel)
I used to have a small fortune in DC Comics' comedy titles (plus the teen comics like "Windy And Willy" and "Date With Debbi," too). They all bit the dust along with the first Aquaman run by 1971, unfortunately. I sure wish I hadn't sold so many of them when I was in college; they might be worth something now. (Didn't remember Aquaman showing up)!

Zoinks! Mera would whoop his Aqua-ass if she heard that comment. Guess he had to go to Venus to say it!

Great Nick Cardy (?) art.
Rick--The book was drawn by Bob Oksner, but yeah that's pretty clearly a Nick Cardy Aquaman.
rob!, not sure where to post it, but I like the new header. Very cool artwork. Kudos to Luke Daab!
Bob Hope and Aquaman together, now there's something I never thought I'd see. I love the random panels.
I mirror Orin's Dad: would it be possible to create a post for each new header, so we can heap praise upon it? :)
I particularly love the simple type treatment.

Brent--Done!
Had to refresh, since I was seeing March's header. LOVE this new one! So amazing!

I would have expected him to show up on "NEPTUNE" LOL! This is a great panel!
