If you do a Google search for Aquaman or "Aquaman Art", you find an astonishing amount of fan art devoted to the Sea King. Either Aquaman is drastically more popular than his comic sales indicate (I've always believed so), or his fan base is disproportionately artistic (plausible).
In any case, its a sweet piece, thanks Elizabeth and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

I wonder if Aquaman's like Wonder Woman--the bulk of his fanbase loves the idea of the character but never really sets foot in a comic shop?
Regardless, this is really charming stuff. Arthur's face is fantastic.
@David - As a Wonder Woman fan I can say I know her other fans get really picky about writers, artists, and pretty much everything else to do with her. A lot of WW fans (myself excluded) tend to boycott her book when they dislike a creative type like poor Gail Simone found out last year. It's more that WW fans in particular all have set ideas of how she should be portrayed and they get really upset when she's portrayed in some way other than what they want; Then they argue and name call about it all online. And as a result, WW got a lame makeover from Straczynski that pretty much none of her fans like. I REALLY hope Aquaman's fan base never gets as bad as Wonder Woman's. Sorry, had vent about this. ;)
Great art. I absolutely love the color scheme she uses! Great job, Elizabeth!
I love it, too! Great, quirky, manga-like feel, I think, at least in Garth's look.
@ Wings, I agree with the manga look for Garth. I do like it though. Very nice piece...
Cute! Not really my cup of tea, but I do like the colors. :-)
