On last week's episode of CBS' The Mentalist, it featured a preview of next week's episode, which features this scene of the titular character (Simon Baker) getting a ticket, and his response is one of annoyance: "Come on, officer. Aren't we all like the Justice League here? Would Aquaman give Batman a ticket?"
I've made a point like this before--but to me a line like that means someone on the writing staff is an Aquaman fan. You don't work in the Sea King when there are more obvious choices unless you really want to get Aquaman in there.
