Courtesy the newest issue of Toyfare (#162, out this week) comes our first look at the new line of Young Justice action figures, which of course includes Aqualad!
These figures are 4.25" high, so they are in scale with the JLU line. To that end, there will be a Hall of Justice playset(!), which is pretty cool. I think the figures looks great, very in line with the look of the characters on the show.
Each YJ figure will be sold separately, but there will also be 2-packs: Batman and Robin, Flash and Kid Flash, and...Aquaman and Aqualad! Which means Aquaman is getting another figure in 2011, making the last couple of years an excellent time for the Sea King, in terms of his presence in nationwide toy aisles. Arthur hasn't had it this good since 1967!

Woohoo! Awesome stuff, Rob!
Haha I tried googling for a bigger image scan of this article, but I couldn't manage to find it. I was reading with my laptop about 4 inches from my face.
It sounds like the people at Mattel are really on the ball with this one. Two different scaled lines, Playset connect pieces, display stands, and accessory love? As great as the Batman:The Animated Series toys were, this is pretty much the line I dreamed of as a kid!
Joe--Sorry about that, didn't even occur to me to post a bigger version. Click the graphic and you'll go to a readable version!
No harm done, Rob! You're golden! It just means that aside from toyfair itself you're the only one posting the information so far!
My Aquaman shelf is gonna get mighty crowded in 2011.
YES!
YESSSSSSS!!! I am *SO* there for that 2-pack! I hope you'll give us a heads-up for when it comes out.
My son is going to be ecstatic with this news!
