@Orin's Dad--I liked quite a bit of it, too--I think the changes made really were the only way Aquaman was going to be able to keep his head above water (ha) in the 1990s, but I'd be ecstatic if most of those changes were never brought up again all the same. Pirate Aquaman is the first version of the character I really got into, but isn't my preferred version now.
I'm with David. This issue is actually the one that got me intrigued about Aquaman in the first place. A friend recommended it because he was a big Wonder Woman fan and she comes off really well in it. But I was impressed at how well Aquaman handles himself against the whole League despite being outnumbered and outgunned.

Aquaman(?) vs. Guy Guardner? Sally P, why didn't you tell us about this?
Ya know, I really enjoyed the PAD run. I may be in the minority, but I liked it.
He's like, twenty-thousand leagues out of his league! :)
Good one-liner Aquaman!

Good grief. Battle of the alternate appendages.
I've kept thinking of this one-liner ever since it was posted. That's enough of a warning to even make Bats pause.

And so it began.
