Wasn't this from the DC Christmas Special in 2008? And didn't Dan Didio write this Aquaman story?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I remember being blown away by how amazing it was. The art was great, and the parallel to Aquaman protecting pregnant woman on the boat was just so cool. It was a really clever idea.

If it's from something completely different -- well, I guess I'm thinking of something else, but the art does look awesome.

This is from the 2008 Holiday Special. And it was written by dan Didio. I forget who the artist is and I'm too lazy to search through my boxes for this issue to find out right now. But I do think this artist should Deff be the new artist for a new ongoing Aquaman series. One of my faves

The artist is Ian Churchill, from the 2008 DC Holiday Special. He did a tremendous job on the art for this story!

Ian Churchill is a huge Aquaman fan, I do believe--his creator owned aquatic superhero and clear Aquaman tribute Marine Man debuts this December, I think.

I can't believe Didio actually wrote something Aquaman related. And the story's not that bad. Could've been better though.

The art on the other hand is really awesome. I woulnd't mind having Mr. Churchill on board as penciller on a new Aquaman monthly!
