Aquaman at Comic Book U

sg
This upsetting vision of what a college for superheroes might be like is courtesy of the site College Humor, which has a half-dozen more scenes like this, featuring many of your favorite heroes acting like actual college students (I don't know first hand, I went to art school).

What I like most about this is the writer(s) didn't resort to cheap, easy "Aquaman is lame" jokes--no, in this instance they actually get it right. Disturbingly so.

This is...well, Rob! put it best: Disturbing. Probably done by a Marvel fan (see the Cap America thing?)

Kick-Ass is kinda sorta a marvel character. I think the gag actually IS the lame wannabe superheroes pledging to get into the cool kids frat, sadly haha.. so it may just be an "Aquaman is lame" joke after all.

David--Huh, I never really thought of that, maybe you're right.

But upon first seeing this, I figured they came up with the visual--getting spanked on the butt, and swallowing a goldfish, two old-timey, iconic "hazing" rituals--and then found superheroes to fit.

So it only makes sense that it would be a hero who has "ass" in his name and a hero who is friends with sea life--hence, Kick-Ass and Aquaman.

But maybe I've thought a little too much about this!

Odd, but also kinda funny.
