Uh oh!
I'd like to know how and when Aqualad went from having straight brown hair to having curly black hair. It seems like there aren't that many brown haired characters, so what happened? Sometime between the "Teen Titans" first appearance in B&B and their re-appearance in Showcase.
I took note of this when I was reading Showcase Presents Aquaman Vol. 2: Aqualad's hair suddenly goes black and curly in issue No. 9 and the look remained for many years. However, for a short time this varied by artist because Ramona Fradon continued to draw him in various stories outside of the "Aquaman" title during 1963 and into '64 wherein she still depicted him with straight, dark brown hair while it is the opposite within the title.
Btw...from what tale is this panel? (The artwork doesn't look familiar)...
