The other night, Darlin' Tracy and I were watching the documentary Note By Note: The Making of Steinway L1037, which follows the year-long process by which a Steinway piano is made. Trace and I watch a lot of documentaries, and I thought with her acute interest in music she'd really get a kick out of it.
About an hour in, there's a sequence with one of the Steinway employees who is a professional musician. His job is to check the piano to make sure its properly tuned.
Anyway, amid the various shots of him performing his job, you can see various comic book posters adorning his office walls. There were posters for The Losers, Shi, Batman, and one other one that really caught my eye:
Whenever I worry that I'm going to ever run out of stuff to run on the Shrine, I'll think of posts like this.
