I've not been enjoying "Brightest Day" at all, it being rather un-bright and in truth quite grim for my taste, but at least we'll be getting a higher profile for Aquaman and that very special Mera figure out of the process.

I have to agree with you on Brightest Day...this is going to be stretched out longer than it needs and I can't see where the pay off will be...however I do like the new action figures especially Queen Mera...they need more of her.

I'm not too keen about another Hawkman and Hawkgirl, but I'll withhold final judgement until I see them in hand.

Loving me some Mera action figure!! Am I wrong in thinking this is the first one ever from DC Direct? (and, what, like the 2nd or 3rd one EVER??)
BRIGHTEST DAY has been amazing, and I am very excited to see these figures. I buy everything Martian Manhunter, so that right away is a must have, but I definitely plan on getting Aquaman, Mera, and Deadman.
Cannot wait to get Mera and Aquaman from this set. Fingers crossed for new Aqualad and Black Manta in a later wave, too!

I swore of DC Direct a while ago, when I started collecting DCUC, but how can I pass up these?!
I've been dying to see these figures! Everyone knew it was only a matter of time. I'm not all that impressed with the green used on Aquaman though, just looks.. off? Am I the only one? Perhaps it'll turn out better in person. And its probably just me being picky. Mera looks amazing!
