I bought the book as a gift for a young comics fan I know, but planned to try and scan in the Aquaman card if possible, not realizing the only way to do that would be to slice open the packaging, making it less than gift-able.
Thankfully, F.O.A.M.er Shag Matthews solved this problem for me--without me even asking!--by sending giant-size, crisp scans of the Aquaman card, as well as the one for Black Manta! Outrageous!
In terms of the book itself, I'm a little disappointed that the origin listed for Aquaman is not the classic Silver Age one, especially since it seems that version of Aquaman's back story is back, thanks to Geoff Johns and Brightest Day. And why does Arthur look so angry?
Those quibbles aside, I love this book's old-school, Who's Who-esque format, and I think it makes a great gift for young superhero fans. If I had had something like this when I was a kid, it would have become very dog-eared from constant use.
The Black Manta page will be posted later today. Until then, if any of you wants to pick up this nifty little item, I invite you to do via the AquaMarketplace:

Cool - Glad they are still making things like this!
Too bad Aquaman is written in what appears to be out of continuity...and in what origin version was he named Arthur Curry Jr., his father/adopted father was Thomas Curry.
Didn't the writers see the obvious conflict with this since Aquaman himself had a son named Arthur Jr.?
He's such a pouty Aquaman. He looks as though he's having a hissy.
I gotta tell you folks, the DC Fandex is really cool if you're a fan of the old Who's Who. Definitely worth your money.
Glad I could help and thanks for the shout-out!

hate to say, but both those illustrations are pretty weak! Manta looks so bad, and an angry Aquaman...haven't we gotten past that part ? Also a disappointment in the origins. I am still an old school kinda guy. The mother thrown out, a lighthouse keeper, a baby boy who later learns his origins in the sea. Such a better take on a hero. IMHO of course!
