Awesome!!! Ivan draws Aquaman's torso scales up to his neck, without the scoop he usually has...I just noticed!

It gives him a more king look. Surprised its never been used before...

I prefer the "scoop neck" look myself, but what the hell. :)

Joe-

My inbox is being flooded with people telling me about Blackest Night #8, out today.

So I thought I would let everyone know that A)I have the book, and B)I'll be covering it on Saturday.

Just a little to the left. I tossed through a copy at the LCS, but I won't have my own arrive in the mail until Tuesday. I only recall the new costumes in general.

Hey Rob - Congrats! You've kept the fires burning all this time. Just think, now that Aquaman is back, it's going to be even harder to keep up with everything. :)

Hey Frank - Just a little further to the left. :)

Great issue! Arthur looks great! Loved the scene with Mera.

So nice to get Aquaman and Firestorm back in the same book! I liked how Mera was the one to comfort Jason. It would be nice if they continue the Jason/Mera friendship.

About.
F@%$ing.
Time.
This long term Aquaman fan is breathing a sigh of relief. Welcome back, King of the Seas.
Now when is the solo title coming back?

That 4-page spread literally made my entire day.

Can't remember the last time something in a comic book made me so happy.

I mean we knew Aquaman was coming back and all... but wow, to actually SEE it happen sent chills down my spine.

Thankfully he'll be in the ever-caring hands of Geoff Johns and Pete Tomasi for the foreseeable future to help him re-establish his place in the DC Universe properly.

I was so excited by Arthur's return in this issue and the two pages dedicated to him and Mera.

At first I wasn't crazy about the neckline of his shirt, but the more I see it the more it grows on me. And there's always a chance the next artist who draws Aquaman will interpret the costume just slightly differently.

This was the moment most of us knew was coming, but was done better than I thought.. I havent stopped smiling, when I think of it.

Bad news for my wallet though, five of the 'reborn' are the guys on my 'instant buy' solo series list; Aquaman chief among those!
