These giant-size wall paintings of Aquaman and Aqualad come courtesy our newest F.O.A.M. member, Josh Althorpe, who says this about them:
"I don't know if the attached pictures are suitable for a blog post, but hopefully the effort involved captures some measure of my allegiance to our hydrographical hero.
Basically I painted some largish paintings, of Aquaman and Aqualad. I tried to keep them true to the original images (read: I directly copied existing images) because I'm more of an enthusiast than an illustrator."

Josh also had some very nice words about the Shrine (always appreciated!), and his devotion to the Sea King is clearly evident, truly making him a Friend of AquaMan. Thanks Josh, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

Wow! I'm in an apartment right now, but if/when I get a house, I want to paint similar pics on MY walls! Nice job, Josh!
WOW... Those are freaking awesome! He copied those? If I tried to copy something it wouldn't look anything like that!!! How neat.
Now that is awesome, work! Wow.. yeah, just wow...
The Aqualad painting looks so great. What what his source material for that?
