Mera Red Lantern Heroclix Figure - 2010

sg

Here's our first glimpse of the new Mera Red Lantern Heroclix figure, part of the Blackest Night Starter Game which hits stores on May 12.

So, if you ever wanted a figure of Mera vomiting up Strawberry Jell-O, this is your baby!

Thanks to F.O.A.M.ers Glenn Walker and Daniel Hemmann for the tip!

Wrong. Just wrong.

we couldn't get a regular Mera in green first. NO, we have to settle for the Angry Queen puking blood.

doesn't mean I won't get one.

Me too, John. I have met the enemy, and I am him.

Gah! What the hell???

Yeah, I would've preferred a regular Mera in something other than a Bystander token, but I'll probably get it (*sigh*).

Rob, thanks so much for taking up the Aqua-Mantle. I ought to just post a link to your blog at the top of my page.

Tegan-

Thanks much! To me, your Aquaman site is like the Golden Age Superman--the one that started it all!

I don't mind this so much, really, I just wish it was preceded by the real deal.

It's got Mera and it's got the trident, if only it could've stopped there... Oh well, if this gets us to the stage where in a few years we a re saying 'Oh not another Mera action figure' then I'll easily lay my money down.

i really like it..but i like mera as a red lantern, and it's better than nothing.

If only she wasn't vomiting up red jello, I would get this.

As it is, for the price it will probably be...no thanks.

I too would have preferred a 'real' Mera HeroClix first, but seeing how the hype is going, I'm sure we'll see one shortly.

Folks are digging Mera, and it's a good thing. Thank you, Geoff Johns!

I don't see the problem here. It's a story that has been prominently featuring Mera, who has been a character relegated to even less than a bystander status for who-knows-how-long.

Geoff Johns has stated repeatedly how important it was to elevate Mera to Wonder Woman status in the DCU and he has done that. He has also mentioned he has plans for her after Blackest Night. This figure should most certainly lead to more.

I for one can't wait to see what happens next.
