Just before Christmas, I got a wonderful surprise in the mail--a Kid Action-as-Aqualad figure, complete with box, sent to me by my pal and F.O.A.M.er Craig Wichman! Wow!
Craig is a big fan of the ol' Captain, and this isn't the first time he's been extremely generous towards me--back in 2007, he sent me an original Captain Action-as-Aquaman doll and costume, with minty repro box, one of the jewels of my collection.
This Aqualad doll and Kid Action accessories are repro, so they look minty and fresh like they just rolled off the line. With the slick box, it makes for one hell of a nice package.
Sorry it took so long for me to get around to photograph this, Craig, and thanks again!

You have the best friends...
If only we all had friends like yours...
I think what they are trying to say is ... Lucky Bastahd!!!
;)
Cool swag, man!
The Captain Action and Kid Action dolls look like Clutch Cargo and Spinner.
All that's missing is a dog Paddlefoot doll that you can dress up like Topo the octopus.
Nice to see the Lad again, Rob - my pleasure to give him a loving home!
He's all repro - but he makes a fine Starter. And thanks go to the members of the Captain Action Yahoo Group, a better gang than which does not exist online, for contributing to the project.
Best,
-Craig
Obviously I need better friends...
I submitted my membership on there a while back...how long can it take to be approved?!
Most groups approve within a day or so. It had been so long I pretty much forgot about it until I went in to one of my other Yahoo groups via the Groups page.
Just wondering...
Dear Doug -
Well, I'm not a Mod there; but that's odd!
Drop me a line off-list (Rob can give you my email addy), and I'll send it along to the CA powers-that-be.
Best,
-Craig
Thanks! Maybe it was that Dr. Evil sex tape...
