This isn't a review of this book, since none of the AquaFamily appear in it; but it does contain a moment that's worth mentioning.
Green Arrow is summarizing all the JLA's been doing recently, including taking care of Black Manta, The Fisherman, and a slightly less-well known Aquaman villain:
This bit was mentioned to me by F.O.A.M.er Glenn Walker, and then the scans from the book were sent to me by F.O.A.M.ers Steve Spatucci and George Rears. A real team effort, thanks guys!

personally, I've been enjoying CRY FOR JUSTICE. I'm a long time fan of James Robinson, especially his STARMAN, so a big part of the draw here was his use of The Shade and Mikaal. and the art is absolutely gorgeous (although it did suffer a bit last month with the fill-in). I understand how the violence can be a turn off but I think the way it's presented has a realistic sense of tragedy as well as importance in the DCU.
I always liked Cutlass Charlie and hoped he'd re-appear somewhere. I often wondered how differently Aquaman would have been if Gardner Fox or John Broome had written his series instead of Bob Haney...
While violence is never an issue for me, I picked up a couple of issues of Cry for Justice and as much as I love Robinson, it was astoundingly bad.
THIS however is very cute, and I wasn't even aware of Cutlass Charlie. I kind of like the idea that he's a legit, ruthless badass pirate, now. Someone to consider including if DC ever relaunches Arthur's book.
I do like the little bits of continituity thrown in here and there, for fun!
