Super Friends Magnet Target Game - 1980

sg
This post was inspired by, and came close to being, one of my "Missed Opportunity" segments, where I highlight a piece of merch that clearly, easily could have had Aquaman included but didn't.

This game is almost there, because as you can see the manufacturer didn't bother putting Aquaman's face or logo anywhere on the package. But since they were using a piece of DC stock art (by Dick Giordano) that featured Aquaman, I guess they didn't want to take the time to remove him. Being one of the Super Friends counts for something, at least.

This was sent to me by our very first F.O.A.M. member, Chris Franklin. Thanks Chris!

Better than nothing, I suppose. But geez, there were tons of cheap-o games made around that time, weren't there?
