American Comic Book Heroes Exhibit

sgToday's post is about a museum exhibit called "American Comic Book Heroes: The Battle of Good Vs. Evil" that was set up at the Strong National Museum of Play, located in Rochester, NY.

Our newest F.O.A.M. member, Ian Blake, sent me an email about it and a link to the museum's website. A couple of weeks later, Ian emailed me again, having returned to the exhibit and taken some pictures to post here on the Shrine! Thanks Ian!

Ian said of the exhibit, "
We have a children's museum here, and they recently put up a super hero exhibit. There are some super hero activities for the kids, but mostly it's a bunch of comics and toys on display with some information about the history of comic books and super heroes."

There was a gift shop that sold some superhero merchandise, including some Aquaman-centric magnets, two of which are pictured above. Nice to see Aquaman get some attention!

If I was a kid, I would've dragged my parents to this museum every week, it looks like fun. Thanks for the pics Ian, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

Looks fun! Coincidentally, one of my best friends just gave me that Justice League Songs & Stories record (4th photo) for Christmas.
