Breaking News - Brave and the Bold #32

sgF.O.A.M. member Doug Zawisza just sent me a link to DC's blog, where today they're previewing the cover to an upcoming issue of Brave and the Bold (#32, out in February) featuring a team-up between Etrigan the Demon and...Aquaman!

Behold this spiffy image by artist Jesus Saiz, with a story by J. Michael Straczynski:

Classic Aquaman, yeah! Thanks Doug!

So does this mean that Classic Aquaman is back? Or is this just a story on the side? Do you think it has anything to do Blackest night?

It looks great, and we all need to buy atleast two copies of this issue to show Didio that Aquaman sells. Yep!!

I am guessing this is an "out of continuity" or "past" adventure? Cool, still. Good to see classic Aquaman about!

Apparently, Didiot must think that the Demon is an A-list character.

So far, JMS' B & B has been out of continuity, but this is still really cool! And if it sells well enough, it'll send a message to DC that we all want and love the classic Aquaman!

That's a great idea Russell - I'm gonna buy two copies. Great cover too. I especially like Jesus Saiz' attention to the environment, like the very specific way the Demon's foot impacting the sandy bottom scatters the sand. Nice work. Can't wait to read this'un!

Fantastic cover. I'll be buying this one as soon as I see it. One of the cool things about B&B (both the classic series and the new one) is seeing established characters (Aquaman) along lesser known ones (Demon).
Also, from the illustration we see both Aquaman and Demon underwater. Does than mean that The Demon can breathe underwater, or is he holding his breath?

OMG! AWESOME! i haven't touched B&B since the Lobo issue of Waid's run, so i have no idea if i'd like the title now... but i'm definitely picking this issue up! Saiz is a great artist too (enjoyed his work since 21 Down), so that's a nice little bonus incentive to snag this Orin return.
