The Schafer Family's Aquaman Shrine

sg
This amazing Aquaman Shrine is owned by F.O.A.M. member(s) Mac Schafer and His Family. Wow!

Mac and his family have produced a number of homemade Aquaman items, many of which we've profiled here (and here, here, and here), and you can see them only display. (Click the photo to see a much larger version)

There were a few items I had some questions about, so Mac generously offered to take me on a little tour of the collection:

sg"Yes, its the super queen Mera from Ideal."

sg"One of these funny Mexican Aqualads like the orange one you posted of Aquaman a few weeks back."

sg"A custom figure that was from one of the cartoon shows that featured Aquaman. This guy is a fellow Atlantian."

sg"A lego aquaman that I built with my son Skye."

sg"An Aquaman symbol ring."

sg"There's a 70s toy of the Super Friends in a buggy. This is the Aquaman from that buggy. I've only seen it for sale as a whole on ebay once."

sg"Finally, I have to include a picture of our favorite family aqua shrine item, it is a book of drawings my four kids and I have done of Aquaman.

You can see that the cover is filled with shrinky dinks of the aqua family made by my four kids and me. My youngest Skye did the big drawing in the middle of the cover of the book."

This truly an awesome collection, and I love how Mac has gotten the whole family involved. Truly a thing of beauty, in more ways than one. Thanks, Schafer Family--I feel like I should issue you all F.O.A.M. certificates!

That is the most wonderful shrine I have seen, and made that much better with the great handmade Aquaman toys!

I'm loving that Lego Aquaman, that is awesome!
