This interview with actor Diedrich Bader (who plays Batman on the new Brave and the Bold show) appears in the newest issue of Toyfare (#135), and features a fun little aside about the show's take on Aquaman. I can't wait to see this show!
Interesting that this Aquaman is carrying knife--a reference to the 1960s Ideal figure?
...and these are photos of actor Alan Ritchson in his role as Aquaman for the upcoming Smallville season premiere, along with his fellow heroes Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Finally, while this pic isn't TV related, I've wanted to post it ever since F.O.A.M. member Joe Hennes pointed it out to me--this is some of the promo art for a new comic series, DCU Elementary. And as you can see, Li'l Aquaman will be part of it!
With this, DC Super Friends, Shazam!, Tiny Titans, and the upcoming Supergirl book, it looks like DC is making a real go at a diverse line of little kid-friendly comics. Well done, DC!

I like the take on the Aqua uniform they went with on Smallville (although I really think the shirt needs scales), and these promo pics look great. I hope they give him more screen time in this episode, and maybe a little more on his powers
That last pic of tiny Aquaman in a water bubble would make an awesome hi-bounce ball. Man I wish I was still designing hard goods sometimes!
I'm REALLY looking forward to Brave and the Bold. Wish Aquaman was all-classic with no beard, but the show looks like so much fun I don't think I'll care. Love the art style.
Over at LITG, Johnston is now saying DCU Elementary may never get published. It was apparently created last year and shelved with no plans to print yet.
