I got this sketch from one of my favorite comic artists growing up, Richard Howell(All-Star Squadron, Hawkman, Portia Prinz), at the 2007 NY Comic Con. As soon as I saw him in the Artist's Alley I made a beeline for him, handing him my book.
I like this simple, gentle portrait of Aquaman wading through the water, and bonus points to Howell for including Tusky the Walrus!

After two days of shining happy Aquaman, I can't help but notice Tusky throwing serious attitude there, harshing the mellow. Someone spike his chum or something?
With Richard Howell, leaving Tusky out would never even be an option. In fact, I'm a bit surprised he didn't draw Aquaman mounted on his seahorse Storm...
I love the sketch and happy to see he remembered his TV adventures by including Tusky.
Great sketch, kind of the behind the scenes look at Aquaman's life, some down time with Tusky!
Also great name for an artist!
Man, Tusky looks either stoned or just completely indifferent to the world around him. I guess he's getting tired of all those aquaman cracks, too.
Haha, great sketch! You know, good 'ol Tusky is one of the few superhero pets that actually makes sense...
Are those gloves yellow?
Oh, I'm sorry... was I supposed to leave a "tusky" comment? Well I'm not going to!
