I love this Heroclix figure--Aquaman's pose is perfect, the build is perfect, and the coloring is spot-on(it's surprising how inconsistently Aquaman's orange shirt color is applied across all his various action figure incarnations).Of course, I would love it if Heroclix could issue an alternate version, minus the starfish, but what the hey. Having a bunch of Starro-infected JLAers sounds like a fun basis for a game.
It is worth mentioning that Starro has taken on the entire JLA several times, yet Aquaman defeated him all by himself in Adventure Comics #451.

Yeah, it's a shame they don't just have a classic Aquaman, but their water hand one is pretty awesome, at least.
When I got this one, I thought, "Oooh, it's cool"....but then I really noticed the starfish and thought, "Ewww, it's not as cool as it could be." Still, it proudly stands in my line of Aquaman Heroclix.
That's a pretty cool heroclix figure. Alllllllllllmost as cool as the one I'll be putting up next post.

I so wish the Atom was there for Starro. Starro has become such a celebrity it would just be cool for The Atom to say, "yanno what, been there, fought that."
But nope. When the next Starro board game comes out, Ray will still not be a part of it.

Say, why haven't we seen Atom vs. Starro and his Justice League. That's a cool story idea-- the only member who escapes conquest was to tiny to be contained. You could even sneak in some political to go with the Tiny Titan vs. the Americans...
