Merry Christmas 2007!

sgAs Aquaman and the rest of the DCU help Santa make his toys, we here at the Aquaman Shrine wish everyone a happy holiday season!

(and by the way--while this is a fine comic all the way through, the closing Deadman story, "Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot" by Alan Brennert and Dick Giordano, is worth the price of admission all by itself!)

Ah, that was a candidate all right. I'm glad you put it up. And you're totally right with the "worth the price of admission."

Good stuff.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Rob!

Has Alan Brennert ever done a bad story for DC?

>>Has Alan Brennert ever done a bad story for DC?<<

nope!

i think he wrote about a dozen stories for DC all told, and 2/3rds of them are very good to great, and the other 1/3rd are bona-fide classics!

i even wrote him once to tell him just how awesome he is, and he was very gracious and nice, which made me like the stories even more.

yes, i have a bit of a man-crush on Alan Brennert.
