F.O.A.M. member Russell Burbage was the first one to tip me off to this book's existence--a DC superhero activity book, over a whopping 400 pages thick! Somehow I had missed it upon its initial release. I quickly found one on Amazon for a measly four bucks(!), and it arrived just a few days later.While of course Superman and Batman get the lion's share of space, Aquaman (looking like classic Aquaman, to boot!) doesn't fare too badly; there are over sixty pages of Aquaman coloring pages, puzzles, games, and the like. I scanned about a dozen or so of my favorites which will appear here now and again.
So for anyone worried I'm going to run out of Aqua-stuff to talk about anytime soon...I'm covered.

I'm still worried. Time to work on the Robbo comic book version of the King of the Seven Seas so we have something to look forward to in 2009.
I've seen Superman and Batman coloring books like this, but not this particular one yet.
In addition to the clean-shaven, two-handed Arthur, how long has it been since Hal Jordan graced any mainstream merchandise? A long freakin' time!

I've seen one similar to this at Big Lots, about two inches thick, but with a different cover, still had all of them on it (including classic Aquaman) just different positions.
I saw the Superman and Batman ones, and noticed on the back cover of those the ad for this one. So I went to amazon.com and got it. I've got a Big Lots down the street from me, so I should check there to see if this other one is a different version or just a different cover.
Hey--I edited that! We did about 1200 pages of these coloring books for Meredith in the space of about 5 weeks. Interior art was by mostly nameless drudges in the Glasshouse Graphics and MODA studios, but a few chunks by guys like Mike DeCarlo, Craig Rousseau, and others snuck in there. The covers were by my buddy from Wales, Mike Collins, and colored by my buddy from NJ, Lee Loughridge. Among life's headaches, this was a big 'un!
