This ball measures about 5" in diameter, and since there's no copyright info anywhere on it, it's probably unauthorized...which is strange, since if you're gonna bootleg a product, why use Aquaman, not Superman?
Oddly enough, the poses seem to be lifts from a Murphy Anderson piece of Superman, Batman, and Aquaman, which can be seen here, adorning a cartoon show ad slick. Weird!

I had those balls (stop snickering)! They made a Superman one too. I remember finding these at Wal-Mart shortly after it opened here, circa 1984. So while they may indeed be bootleg, they did appear at regular retail.
Nice score! Brian is good people!

"Hey, kids - see? Aquaman DOES have balls!"
That is pretty cool, I love finds like this!
Are they like inflatable play ground balls or are they those soft foam with a paint like vinyl coating?
its an inflatable ball with hard vinyl shell. i would imagine if you had gotten hit in the face with this ball, not only would it have HURT, but you'd be left with a slight blueish imprint of Batman or Aquaman on your face!
and in reverse, to boot.

do you remember who was on the other side of the Superman one?
Wonder Woman? Flash? Firestorm?
I can't remember for sure. I'm thinking Superman was on both sides of his ball. I just remember the distinctive stencil-artwork. Even in 1984, they looked old.
