Whitman Box Puzzle - 1968

One of my favorite items, a box jigsaw puzzle from 1968, no doubt released in tandem with the Filmation Aquaman cartoon on the air at the time. I found it at the San Diego ComiCon in 1999--it was complete and in good shape. Lucky for me, the vendor took credit cards (I find myself saying that way too much).

Its a fun piece--nice colorful pic of Arthur and Mera battling a very odd-looking, renegade octopus. Weird that Aquaman is mostly facing away from the camera (all the while looking like he's barking out orders at Mera), but what the hey. I've put it together once or twice so far.
