JLA Classified Action Figure - 2005

Publish PostsgPart of the JLA Classified figure series from DC Direct. They're based on the artwork of Ed McGuinness, whose style I've always liked. He drew the regular Superman title for a while and when he did I always thought it looked great.

My only beef is how angry and steriod-ed up Arthur looks here. He looks like the kind of guy who'd beat someone up for reading comic books, and that's just wrong. Superheroes should mostly happy, friendly-looking people.

Plus his leg muscles scare me.

Big leg muscles make faster swimmers, ya know--

swimmers i think should be very toned, not huge masses of muscle. Jim Aparo fre Aquaman skinny but but toned, which i always thought made the most sense.

plus those pants are waaaay too tight.

I'm really not a fan of this style, every hero looks too interchangable.
