It reminded me of how popular "historical" time travel was in comics from the 40's through the 60's; you don't see it that much anymore, I don't think. Now time travel is either dinosaurs or far-flung future.Joseph Brian Scottnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35995922.post-37836767589151702992011-05-08T01:15:13.203-04:002011-05-08T01:15:13.203-04:00Wonder how well "Aquaman meets Led Zepplin&qu...Wonder how well "Aquaman meets Led Zepplin" would sell? :-p

Other observations:
- The closing blurb... "actionful" is a word? Maybe it's like how they always abbreviated "teen-ager" or "to-day" in the old days...

- Re: Superboy: this issue sees him helping kids win a rare collectibles' contest against a spoiled rich kid's entries. Yes, that weird-drawn leg on the cover (and the stamp itself) appears a few times in the issue, along with an anachronistic mention of a small country still recovering from "Nazis blowing up their tracks during the war"...Anthonyhttp://www.anthonynotes.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
