Wonder if anyone's ever thought of declaring Arthur as being vegetarian... A) it'd be unique (I don't recall many other superhero characters that are vegetarian) and B) for me, it'd come off less like eating one's pet cat (as someone on Twitter put it). (I'm not vegetarian, but don't eat seafood out of disliking the taste... so maybe I'm biased :-p ).
Then again, I gather "being a badass" (to use a crude term like that, but apparently the goal of superhero characters nowadays) probably precludes being some "wimpy" non-meat-eater... meh...
And yet...
ReplyDeleteWhere is this from?
ReplyDeleteThe Superman/Supergirl: Maelstrom mini-series.
ReplyDeleteRob, was Aquaman in this series, or just mentioned?
ReplyDeleteSo is that Supergirl or Arhtur Joseph? Really I cant tell.
ReplyDeleteDD--No Aquaman appearance, just this mention.

Back in the 1991 AQUAMAN series he was shown as enjoying a hot dog in New York City and I think he was shown at a steak restaurant, too....?
